Claudio Sarmiento-Casas is an architect and a doctoral student at the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toronto. His research on bicycle trades (informal cycle-based street vendors) lies at the intersection between contested street politics and everyday informal cycling. He works as an urban consultant, researcher, and lecturer in Mexico.
