2019 Category Winner Sustainable Environment

Based on the framework of the EU’s Sustainable Development Strategy, the Lisbon Environmental Action Plan has been designed to address an overall vision of an urban green transformation and a liveable, creative, healthy and innovative city. For example, under this plan, they promote making spaces safer and more accessible for pedestrians alongside other sustainable urban mobility initiatives.
